Srinagar, Jan 01 (KNO): Known for his artwork and fashion designing, a youth from North Kashmir has now started his own advertising company where he is providing job to over half a dozen people.
Assef Wani, a resident of Sopore town who has received accolades for his artwork, has now launched an advertising company to provide talented youth in Kashmir a proper platform to exhibit their skills.
While talking with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Assef said that since childhood, he was passionate about artwork and has won several awards for his artwork at various platforms.
"My artwork is being widely appreciated, last year my work was exhibited in Mumbai as well as in Delhi," he said.
"I believe we shouldn't hide our talent whatever it may be, he said, adding that artist is the one who lives for others and revives their hopes.
"After completing my BSC in fashion designing, I started my own advertising company which deals with advertisement, branding, social media handling besides other things," he said, adding that at present he has six people as his employees.
"It is our duty to work for the welfare of society. We must engage our budding youth in activities where they can earn a livelihood," he said—(KNO)
